Modest Heroes

Directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, Yoshiyuki Momose,

& Akihiko Yamashita Produced by Studio Ponoc.

An ambitious Japanese anthology of three thrilling tales by the creators who brought us Mary & the Witch’s Flower, Modest Heroes explores ideas of heroism in everyday life.

Kanini & Kanino follows the tale of two tiny siblings who live in a stream full of magical underwater creatures.

Life Ain’t Gonna Lose tells the tale of a family that is hilariously focused on protecting their son, Shun, from a fatal allergy to eggs.

Invisible is about an invisible salaryman, ignored by those around him, who is one day given the opportunity to be a hero.
