Alexandre Heboyan

Alexandre graduated in 2004 from Gobelins film school. His short student film, Bigoudenn Migration, won awards (prix ars Electronica, Canal + award) and notably the jury honors in Siggraph 2005. After a first experience on Michel Ocelot Azur & Asmar, Alexandre moved in California to work at Dreamworks.

He animated characters on Kungfu-Panda (2008) and Monsters vs Aliens (2009). On the side he was developing a short movie, Exodus, but he left Dreamworks and stopped this project to direct his first Cg movie. Mune, the moon guardian, with Benoit Philippon, produced by On Enternainment, took 6 years in the making. The art was created in Paris, and Cg production took place in 2013 at Mikros Montréal. Mune is getting a worldwide release, and was selected in Annecy film festival, also won the best feature in the Tokyo Animation Award Festival.
