Chris Morgan

Chris is documentary filmmaker who has been making films for the last 18 years for the BBC, PBS, and the Discovery Channel.

He is interested in how animation can be used in documentaries, specifically the integration of narrative animation with live action documentary content. Through his company, Fundi Films, he has been collaborating with Maan Creative (Johannesburg) on recent projects. Their film “The Rights of Child”, using hybrid stop motion animation, won the United Nations award at the New York Film Festival for the film that “best exemplifies the ideals and goals of the United Nations.”

Their latest project is a 55 episode life skills series using 2D animation and documentary content being produced by teams in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.
