Founded in 2006, Animation South Africa (A.S.A) is a non-profit organisation mandated by industry to develop, promote and represent South African animation and VFX. We currently have two chapters, one in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg. 

Our vision is to nurture a vibrant, sustainable and transformed Animation and VFX industry for South Africa, offering a diverse range of content and services that is unique and globally competitive.

Film Cape Town is a joint initiative between the City of Cape Town and the Cape Town film industry. It’s a focused project, designed to make the most of the City’s amazing locations, diverse talent pool and world class infrastructure to create a thriving and sustainable industry that’s the crown jewel of the continent.

The Gauteng Film Commission (GFC) develops, promotes and coordinates the film and television production industry in South Africa's wealthiest province. An agency of the Gauteng Provincial Government, we are tasked with positioning the province as a world-class destination for film-making as well as attracting local and international investments in the film and television industry.

Nickelodeon Africa is a 24-hour children's channel. Nickelodeon currently reaches 1.5 million households in 49 countries across the continent.
