André de Villiers, the Animation Director behind "Moremi" and a contributor to "Surf Sangoma" and "Stardust" in Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire on Disney+, brings over sixteen years of diverse animation experience, spanning feature films, television, and branded entertainment. During his tenure at Blackginger, André honed leadership skills, adeptly articulating creative visions and navigating project challenges. Beyond animation, his skills as a painter are grounded in a lifelong observation of human and animal behavior. In 1999, André earned the grand prize in The Lions International Peace Poster Contest, followed by an exhibition of his oil paintings at La Concorde Gallery in Franschhoek. His animation credits include films such as Free Willy 4, Resident Evil: Final Chapter, Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the animated Netflix feature "Seal Team." Graduating in 2007 from The Animation School, André collaborates globally with acclaimed studios, currently serving as a senior animator at Sunrise Productions on their upcoming feature "David" in Cape Town, South Africa.
